debuting at the paris world's fair in 1937, these tea trollies by alvar aalto use the closed-loop laminated birch frame he first developed for the paimio tuberculosis sanatorium, in particular his
armchair 41. the large white wheels have black rubber treads and the trolly top is available in ceramic tile, black linoleum or white laminate. ceramic tile version comes with wicker basket and is part of the permanent collection of MoMA.
