in 1952, harry bertoia designed a series of chairs for knoll that were destined to become classics. the bird lounge chair and ottoman are part of this historic series which makes creative use of welded steel rods. frames are available in polished chrome or a bonded rilsan finish of black or white. upholstered in your choice of fabrics so be sure to check individual item descriptions for options.

frame is welded steel with rods in chrome polish or bonded rilsan, a very durable and adhesive fused nylon-dipped finish. 4 plastic slides. stanless steel connections. scratch, chip, and chemical resistant. chairs with bonded rilsan finish and vinyl cushion material are appropriate for outdoor use with proper care and limited exposure to the elements. note: knoll logo is stamped into the base of the chair.
