originally designed in 1912 by josef hoffmann for the wiener werkstatte, ludwig lobmeyr edited the mat glass with black enamel in 1914 for the first time. now, hoffmann's designs with their characteristic form are much sought after. glasses are blown, cut, engraved and polished by hand to ensure that every detail is exact.
