the palais crystal pattern was designed by ludwig lobmeyr in 1870 and is considered to be one of his grandest designs. glasses are blown, cut, engraved and polished by hand. each piece of crystal passes through several different sets of hands to ensure that every detail is exact. the result is a perfect balance of shape and function.
