peter stathis leads a collaborative design venture specializing in the design and development of furniture, housewares and consumer products. he is also the former director of the world-renowned graduate design program at cranbrook academy of art.

peter has worked extensively in industrial, graphic, interior and retail design. his interests are varied, and his clients include artecnica, pablo, namb�, and the museum of modern art.

his work has received numerous awards including the chicago athenaeum's good design award, the industrial designers society of america's idea awards and the i.d. annual design review. his projects and writings have been published internationally, most notably by the wall street journal and la times newspapers, and bybusiness week and life magazines. peter stathis has participated in numerous design exhibitions and his work is included in the permanent collections of several museums, including the cooper-hewitt national design museum, the chicago athenaeum museum of architecture and design, and the museum of modern art in new york.
